Arkansas coach Eric Musselman said after the team’s season-opening win earlier in the week that he would eventually trim his rotation, though the nonconference portion of the schedule likely wouldn’t be when.
If Arkansas keeps beating every opponent like they did then and did Friday, he may never have to worry about it.
The 14th-ranked Razorbacks beat Gardner-Webb, 86-68, in a game that hovered around a margin of 20 for the entire second half after big runs limited the visitors at the close of the first half and the start of the second.
Musselman wasn’t exactly thrilled with everything he saw, though, bemoaning some of the late-game play as Arkansas never quite put its foot all the way on the gas to finish off the Runnin’ Bulldogs.
Check out everything the coach had to say below. Note: Musselman’s remarks are paraphrased.
