Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik met with reporters following Tuesday’s practice, the first time he has addressed the media during fall camp.
Klubnik is heading into his second season with offensive coordinator Garrett Riley at the helm. On Tuesday, he spoke to reporters on the learning curve he’s experienced, his rapport with receivers, the offensive line and more.
“I think that we’ve just had a really good mindset, more than anything,” Klubnik said when asked about the difference he’s seen in the offense overall to this point in camp. “We were a really young team last year. It’s a team that’s just a lot smarter. Guys have got a little more experience kind of all over when it comes to receivers, offensive line, quarterback, running back.
“Just a lot of guys that have played a lot of ball now and a lot of returning starters. I’d say one of the biggest things is just getting to come back in the same offense again. Not having to have your first fall camp in a new offense and kind of getting to run things you’ve already been running, it’s huge,” Klubnik added.
Here’s everything Klubnik said at Tuesday’s media gathering.
