The 2022 NFL draft has ended and college football fans have wasted no time bragging about how many draft picks their college produced (Or knocking their rivals for their lack of draft picks).
No one was surprised that the SEC once again led all conferences with the most draft picks, producing 65 draft picks. This is the 16th straight draft that the SEC has produced the most picks.
This year it was the Georgia Bulldogs leading the way and setting multiple draft records, their 15 selections were a modern record, as was their five defensive players taken in the first round.
The Bulldogs were expected to challenge these records after winning the national championship and having one of the most dominant defenses in years. LSU showed that NFL talent does not always translate to wins, as the Tigers had the second most players drafted in the conference with 10 despite going 6-7 and firing Ed Orgeron.
Unlike their rivals, Auburn had just one player selected with [autotag]Roger McCreary[/autotag] being drafted by the Tennessee Titans with the 35th overall pick.
Here are how many draft picks each SEC produced and where they are headed.
