Tyronn Lue
Irving’s old coach has seen his name thrown in the mix the most.
Smith included Lue on his shortlist on ESPN’s “First Take” not long after Jay Williams brought him up on “Get Up!” Kendrick Perkins also thinks Lue would be a good fit for the Nets — and Irving, specifically.
Nets should be looking at Ty Lue!!! Kyrie had his best years playing under Head Coach TLue and they went to 3 straight finals together. He always put Kyrie in position to be successful and oh yeah he drew up a play for Kyrie that was 1 of the biggest shots in NBA History!

Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports is reporting “Irving prefers Tyronn Lue for Nets” — though, Brandon Robinson of Heavy.com is reporting Brooklyn’s point guard feels differently.
Report of Brooklyn Nets PG Kyrie Irving having a preference for his former Cleveland Cavs coach, Ty Lue to become next head coach of Brooklyn Nets is “absolute nonsense,” I’m told this evening.
