Third-year Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt parted ways with defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh after four games of the 2020 season.
Brumbaugh was hired by Tennessee in February.
Pruitt has coached at the Power Five level since 2007 when he served as Director of Player Development at Alabama, a position he held through the 2009 season. Pruitt served as Alabama’s defensive backs coach from 2010-12 before becoming Florida State’s defensive coordinator in 2013.
He went to Georgia (2014-15) and Alabama (2016-17) as defensive coordinator before becoming Tennessee’s head coach in 2018.
