Over the years, one of college football’s most anticipated weekends has been the final week of the regular season in Week 14, which is commonly referred to by fans of the sport as “rivalry week.”
A week that pits rival schools against each other, some of rivalry week’s top matchups each year include the Iron Bowl between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers, as well as others such as the Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines and Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels in the Egg Bowl.
Well, one of college football’s top rivalries is now set to be added to that list this upcoming week as well, as the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies are set to officially renew their head-to-head matchup this upcoming week for the first time since 2011.
This is also where ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be visiting Saturday as well, the show announced Saturday night the return trip to College Station for the Week 14 matchup.
“College GameDay” was previously in College Station back on Aug. 31 for the Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish game.
