There’s no such thing as a perfect draft class, but the Seahawks checked all the boxes they needed to in the 2023 NFL draft. Our favorite pick of the bunch was at No. 20 overall: wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is widely considered the top receiver prospect in this class. By adding Smith-Njigba’s skillset to the formidable tandem of Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, Seattle’s receiver room is about as good as it gets at this level.
If you happen to need proof, ask Mike Clay at ESPN. His updated wide receiver unit rankings after the draft show Seattle’s is the best in the NFC and second in the entire league behind only the Bengals.

Fans can take this top three to the bank. Whether it becomes a truly dominant, league-best unit will depend on whether or not the extremely athletic second-year wideout Dareke Young can give them a legitimate No. 4 option.
