ESPN insiders debate if Ben Simmons will be with Sixers after deadline

5 ESPN insiders give their thoughts on whether Ben Simmons will still be with the Philadelphia 76ers after the trade deadline.

The Philadelphia 76ers are at the forefront of every conversation before the Feb. 10 trade deadline in the NBA. The Sixers have the biggest domino in the form of Ben Simmons who is a player, at this point, where everybody knows the story of what’s going on with him.

Simmons has yet to suit up for the Sixers now 51 games into the 2021-22 season and Philadelphia has fared pretty well at 31-20. This is due to the fact that Joel Embiid has taken another step forward as one of the more elite players in the game. He has thrown the Sixers on his back and he has the team near that top of the standings in the East.

That is why it is important for Philadelphia to get this Simmons deal right. The Sixers need to put the right piece next to him in order to get the job done and win a title while Embiid is upright.

ESPN had five of their insiders debate on whether Simmons will still be in Philadelphia after the buzzer sounds on deadline day:

The question they are asked is: Fact or fiction: Ben Simmons will be a 76er at 3:01 p.m. ET on Feb. 10.
