ESPN gives Sixers 26.5% chance to make Eastern Conference Finals

The Philadelphia 76ers have the third-best odds to reach the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.

The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the top contenders in the league and they currently own the best record in the Eastern Conference at 18-7 in the early part of the season and that means they will be in the running to make an NBA Finals appearance in the summer.

Recently, ESPN put out the odds for the top teams to make their respective Conference Finals. In the East, the Milwaukee Bucks have the best odds at 71.4% followed by the star-studded Brooklyn Nets at 37.0% then there is Philadelphia at 26.5%. The defending Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat have the sixth-best chance at 16.7%.

The Sixers, led by stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, will certainly give any team a battle in the East, but they do have questions to answer. They have come up short in the playoffs in the past so they do have to show up come playoff time in order to get to where they want to go. The additions of Seth Curry and Danny Green along with the improvements of Tobias Harris will all play a factor as well.
