Just three weeks ago, ESPI FPI’s projection saw Wisconsin finishing with a 6-6 record with losses to Purdue, Iowa and Nebraska.
Well, things have obviously changed a bit with the Badgers beating Purdue, dominating Iowa and throttling Rutgers in back-to-back-to-back weeks.

Those wins have vaulted the Badgers into first place in the Big Ten West, tied with Minnesota, Purdue and Iowa. Wisconsin and Minnesota are the two of those four that control their own destiny, pointing to November 27’s contest between the two as, in essence, the “Big Ten West Bowl.”
With Wisconsin’s improvement and continued winning, ESPN FPI now sees the Badgers winning the Big Ten West:
