ESPN CBB analyst projects Crimson Tide as a No. 1 seed in March Madness

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi and Bracketology expert projects the Crimson Tide as a one-seed in March Madness

The No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide has quietly looked like one of the most dangerous teams in college basketball to start the season. The Tide are 12-2 and look primed to make a deep run come March having played one of the toughest out-of-conference schedules with matchups against UConn, Gonzaga, Houston, Michigan State and more.

Now, we are at the beginning of SEC play and Alabama is 2-0 to start. Last week the Tide went on the road and beat a ranked Mississippi State team, and then on Tuesday, they beat Ole Miss by 22. The Tide will have their toughest conference foe to date on Saturday when they host the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Tide’s hot start has been noticed by ESPN’s Bracketology expert Joe Lunardi. Lunardi currently projects the Tide to be a one-seed for the NCAA March Madness tournament alongside Kansas, Kentucky and Purdue. It would be the first time in program history.
