ESPN analyst says 49ers have best defensive player in NFL

Through four games, the 49ers LB has already recorded three forced fumbles, two interceptions, a sack and 27 total tackles.

Following his red-hot start to the 2024 NFL campaign, San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Fred Warner is beginning to pile up some rightful recognition.

In an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, former NFL defensive back Darius Butler shared some high praise for the 49ers defensive captain.

Opening his segment on The Pat McAfee Show, Butler said the 49ers linebacker is the best defensive player in the NFL before breaking down Warner’s highlight-reel pick-six against New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
