ESPN analyst believes this could be the year Clemson makes it back to the College Football Playoff

A ESPN analyst believes this could be the year Clemson return to the CFP if the Tigers’ offense gets going.

According to an ESPN analyst, this could be the season that Clemson makes their long-awaited return to the College Football Playoff.

On ESPN’s College Football Live, Dusty Dvoracek discussed Clemson football and his expectations for the 2023 season. While some are lower on Clemson than Dvoracek, he sees them right back knocking on the door of the CFP.

“I think they are right back competing for an ACC Championship.  Them and Florida State for me are the class of the ACC.  I think they are right back there knocking on the door for the College Football Playoff.”

We all know the talent a Clemson defense can have, and the 2023 team should be no different. They will be loaded on the defensive side of the ball and should be better than they were in 2022.

For Dvoracek, it is about Garrett Riley’s offense coming together.

“Garrett Riley is going to make an impact offensively.  I think it is pretty clear that Cade Klubnik seems like that next great quarterback there at Clemson.  I love the backfield.  Like the receivers.  Antonio Williams a freshmen was excellent a season ago.  And that defense is going to be ferociaus.  Front seven is loaded once again.  Tyler Davis, Ruke Orhorhoro up front, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Barrett Carter, Mukuba on the backend.  They got dudes all over and it seems like they are going to start to figure it out.  Once that offense gets going this could be a season where we see Clemson make it back to the College Football Playoff,” said Dvoracek.

Watch out for the Tigers in 2023; they should surprise many doubters.
