The parting of ways between the Indianapolis Colts and tight end Eric Ebron was less than amicable, and the latter had some choice words for the current regime.
With the topic of Ebron’s departure hitting Colts Twitter this week, the current Pittsburgh Steeler let it be known that he has a lot of love for Indy. The same cannot be said about his feelings toward Chris Ballard and the front office.
Loved everything about Indy. Even if I could ever come back I would in a heart beat, just not under that management. 🤷🏾‍♂️ but Indy and Colts family have been amazing to me and my family

Following a career year in 2018, Ebron wasn’t seeing the same type of success in 2019. He let it be known to the coaching staff that he wanted more targets, and it likely rubbed the front office the wrong way when he did it through the media.
Ebron then decided to have surgery that ended his season early, a decision that put him and the Colts at odds.
Though the Colts typically talk about their free agents in a positive light, Ballard made it clear from the jump that they weren’t bringing Ebron back this offseason.
Ebron signed a one-year deal with the Steelers this offseason while the Colts wound up signing Trey Burton after his release from the Bears.
