Eric Dickerson has heard the outrage from Rams fans over the new logo and he’s going to bat for them. After saying on FOX Sports Radio that he doesn’t like the team’s new look, he’s taking action.
Dickerson tweeted on Wednesday that after reviewing the comments from fans about the team’s new logos, he’s going to talk to the team about it. He’ll also present them with two other options, one of which is a mashup of the logos the Rams released this week.
.@RamsNFL fans, I reviewed your comments regarding our new logos and share in your disappointment. I’ll be speaking with the Rams on our behalf. Please like if you prefer the logo on the left and retweet to vote for the logo on the right (Rams booster club).

Dickerson still has close ties with the Rams, serving as their vice president of business development. His relationship with the team wasn’t always great and was made very public in 2016 when he voiced his issues with Jeff Fisher, but he’s on stable ground with the franchise now.
It’s no surprise that fans greatly appreciated Dickerson taking action after their comments and concerns fell on mostly deaf ears – though Kevin Demoff is very aware of the outrage. That being said, it’s unlikely Dickerson will be able to get anything done, even as the VP of business development.
The Rams are confident in their new logo and spent two years coming up with this redesign. They’re not simply going to throw that work out the window in favor of a fan-made logo – not even after petitions were created and signed by thousands of fans.
But, one can hope, right?
