The Baltimore Ravens have seen some phenominal prospects go off of the board before they had the chance to select them over the course of their franchise history. Dez Bryant and Rob Gronkowski are just a couple of “what ifs” for Baltimore, but in 2021, the board had plenty of prospects available for the organization to choose from.
When talking about how the first round went for the Ravens, general manager Eric DeCosta seemed very pleased with how everything fell for them.

Baltimore selected wide receiver Rashod Bateman with the 27th overall selection while also taking edge rusher Jason Oweh with the 31st pick. The team is clearly happy that they were able to fill two positions of need with high quality players that can contribute immediately. Both players were linked to the Ravens at points throughout the draft process, and now both will be Ravens for the foreseeable future
