Enraged Julian Edelman reacts to Patriots blowing it against Raiders

Julian Edelman clearly isn’t happy with the state of the Patriots right now.

Former New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman was left baffled like most fans watching the team suffer a complete meltdown in Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

With the game tied and three seconds left on the clock, the Patriots made the strange decision to call a running play with Rhamondre Stevenson, instead of just letting the clock run out and taking the game into overtime. After running into a group of defenders, the second-year running back threw a backwards pass to wideout Jakobi Meyers, who threw the game-losing interception to Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones.

The heads up play by Jones ended in the former Patriot trotting the ball into the end zone and icing the game at Allegiant Stadium. Edelman was visibly irate after another boneheaded blunder cost the Patriots a possible victory.

Edelman said, “What the [expletive] are we doing? What are we doing?”

That’s a great question, Jules.

There are a bunch of Patriots fans asking the exact same thing after the team likely blew its playoff hopes in one of the most humiliating losses in franchise history.
