One thing [autotag]Marcus Freeman[/autotag] has done since he arrived in South Bend is improve the recruiting prowess of the program. His arrival sparked a completely different way of going after prospects, and look at the results over the past two recruiting cycles.
The 2023 Notre Dame class is one of the best in the country. The 2024 class already has five commitments and is the beginning of another stellar group. Freeman will not stop at a good start with the rising juniors. He is going after players who can play anywhere. One of those is Pennsylvania defensive back [autotag]Omillio Agard[/autotag], who dropped his top 10 schools. The Irish are still firmly in his recruitment.

Agard visited South Bend in June, so he is familiar with the campus. It was a good visit, putting the Irish in contention for the star defender’s commitment down the line.
