Nobody returns playmakers for another year better than the Iowa Hawkeyes. They have their guys and they keep them for as long as they can. It is what makes them as successful as they are being one of the nation’s most experienced teams.
News has come from Eliot Clough of Hawkeye Beacon and Rivals that Iowa is in line to get one of their most electrifying players back in 2025.
Clough has reported that return specialist Kaden Wetjen is planning to come back in 2025 and told him he is “98% sure” he will return.
Here’s the quote Wetjen started with before saying he’s 98% sure he’s planning coming back.

“Yep, that’s the plan. To come back as of now, so I’m ready to get going next year again, but got to finish this year out,” Wetjen said when asked if he is returning.
“I just felt like it was the best decision for me and, I mean, another year of film wouldn’t hurt to try to get it out there, so yeah, that was the main thing,” he responded when he was asked why he decided to come back.
Kaden Wetjen blossomed this year for Iowa becoming a weapon returning kickoffs and punts.
He averaged 25 yards per kickoff return consistently setting Iowa’s offense up well. In the punt return game, he averaged 12.5 yards per punt return and has an 85-yard punt return touchdown against Northwestern.
Wetjen was the Big Ten Return Specialist of the Year as well.
