Bosses in Elden Ring are tough, and Royal Knight Loretta puts up a ferocious fight when you first meet her. She’s an ethereal ghost atop Caria Manor, and she doesn’t go down easily. As her ethereal form suggests, she’s adept with magical abilities, in addition to being a fearsome warrior on horseback. Sadly you don’t get to ride your own horse in this fight, which means you’ll have to adjust to rolling and weaving out of harm’s way while striking back.
This is a challenging fight and Loretta pulls out some tricks to stay alive, but with some perseverance and memorization, she will fall like all the rest. Loretta is tougher than Godrick, but perhaps an easier fight than Rennala.
