Ed Orgeron announces that Kayshon Boutte is done for the year

The LSU Tigers lose another playmaker.

This has been one hit after another for the LSU Tigers. After losing Andre Anthony, Myles Brennan, and Derek Stingley Jr, we have top wide receiver Kayshon Boutte.

Boutte has been the No. 1 receiver this year for the offense, now the team will have to find a new way to dial up the offense. He was carted off the field following an injury following a catch on the sideline.

On Monday, LSU Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron announced that Boutte would be unavailable for the Florida game during his Monday afternoon press conference. It was later announced to be a season-ender for the talented pass catcher.

This season Boutte led the team with 38 receptions for 508 yards and nine scoring grabs. The rest of the team combined had 14 scoring plays on the year. It appears that the freshman trio of Jack Bech, Brian Thomas Jr, and Deion Smith among others will need to step up in a major way.

Just another hit to a disappointing season for the LSU Tigers.
