Eastern Michigan LB to officially visit Michigan State football

An EMU linebacker transfer will be visiting Michigan State

Eastern Michigan linebacker James Djonkam was granted an extra year of eligibility due to the new junior college rule, and now he has entered the transfer portal for his final year. The Eagles linebacker has three visits lined up, and the Spartans are on the list.

Michigan State, along with Virginia Tech and West Virginia, will be getting visits from the linebacker, according to 247Sports’ Allen Trieu.

In 2024, the 6-foot-4, 250 pound linebacker was a mike for the Eagles, where he had 98 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 3 sacks. Prior to Eastern Michigan, he spent three years at Arizona State where he spent time as a mike and an edge.
