For instance, the team frequently struggled to protect the quarterback. The interior of Minnesota’s offensive line often gave up pressure, which forced Kirk Cousins to make mistakes.
At least the Vikings have tried to upgrade the offensive line slightly this offseason. The team recently traded for Cardinals center Mason Cole. Minnesota only had to give up a sixth-round pick to get him, too.
It’s hard to say where each Vikings offensive lineman is going to slot in come 2021. But it doesn’t hurt to make an early prediction. Here is a starting lineup I think the team could go with next season:
