Something was off when the Baltimore Ravens took the field for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. It was almost as if the Ravens were … cursed.
Perhaps they were.
(Cue the boogeyman voice.)
Quarterback Lamar Jackson, the favorite to win the NFL MVP, threw ducks and misfires in the passing game along with two interceptions. The Ravens’ impressive defense, meanwhile, could do little to stop Titans running back Derrick Henry, who had 195 rushing yards at 6.5 yards per carry. He added a passing touchdown on a trick play for good measure. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who threw just 14 passes on the evening, had two touchdowns.
Ravens safety Earl Thomas joked the Drake curse got to Baltimore after the game.
The drake curse is real lol jk

Indeed, Drake wished Jackson a Happy Birthday in the days leading up to the playoff game. In his Instagram story, he had a few birthday wishes: “more life happy birthday @new_era8!!!”

We thought the Dark curse was over. After all, Drake’s Toronto Raptors won the NBA Finals last season after a stunning set of performances from Kawhi Leonard. But he’s got a long history of rooting for a losing team. His fandom is a kiss of death. Even when he wore a custom shirt for all four teams in the NFC and AFC championships, no team won in regulation. Both games went into overtime. It was too perfect.

All the football teams still playing — whether college or pro — should so their best to steer clear of Drake. Perhaps the curse is back on.
