A quiet offseason for the Philadelphia Eagles went up in flames late Monday night when star wide receiver DeSean Jackson posted what many deemed to be anti-Semitic messages on social media Monday that he attributed to Adolf Hitler and other quotes and shares of information attributed to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

The Instagram story featured a quote attributed to Hitler that said “[white Jews] will blackmail America and [They] will extort America, but their plan for world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were.”

DeSean clarified his post on Monday, stating that he doesn’t hate Jewish people.

“Anyone who feels I have hate towards the Jewish community took my post the wrong way,” Jackson wrote. “I have no hatred in my heart towards no one!! Equality equality.”

The Eagles have not yet commented on the posts.
