Eagles vs. Chiefs, Super Bowl injury updates: Latest news on DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter

Patrick Mahomes remains on Kansas City Chiefs injury report as a full participant, while Jalen Carter and DeVonta Smith were limited participants

The Eagles and Chiefs released their Wednesday injury reports for the Super Bowl. Both teams must have star players with designations ahead of next Sunday’s finale for the Lombardi Trophy.

For Philadelphia,  DT Jalen Carter (illness), Kenneth Gainwell (concussion), Brandon Graham (elbow), and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) were all limited participants.

Zack Baun (groin), Britain Covey (neck), Landon Dickerson (knee), Dallas Goedert (ankle), Cam Jurgens (back), and C.J. Uzomah (abdomen were all full participants.

Gainwell, Covey, Graham, and Uzomah are all listed as questionable before the team departs for New Orleans.

The Chiefs put out their practice report for Wednesday, and The only Kansas City player limited in practice today was WR Skyy Moore (abdomen). QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) and OT Jawaan Taylor (knee) were full participants.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes remains on the report with his lingering ankle injury. Mahomes has been listed on the report every week since Week 16 after he sprained his right ankle against the Browns in a December 15 game.

He has remained a full participant, though, in the entire postseason.
