One of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ aging players from 2023 has found a home six weeks into the season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday that Bucs wide receiver [autotag]Julio Jones[/autotag] is set to join the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year deal. Jones is set to join the Eagles’ practice squad before quickly being elevated up to the 53-man roster.
Jones only played for one year in Tampa Bay, and his impact was minimal. Jones was initially sidelined for a decent chunk of the season with an MCL injury, and his most notable action with the Bucs was his game against the Seattle Seahawks in Munich where he caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. He finished his career in Tampa Bay with 24 receptions for 299 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
