Jason Peters and Lane Johnson are brothers at arms and nothing shows loyalty to a teammate like having moves that help financially. Jason Peters had his contract redone after volunteering to move back to left tackle for the Eagles.
To assist the move from a financial standpoint, the Eagles all-world right tackle restructured his own deal, turning the bulk of his 2020 base salary into a signing bonus creating more than $5M in cap room for the Birds while pushing money to the future.
