The Philadelphia Eagles released safety Will Parks on Tuesday and the biggest reason for his departure centers on the development of the young players on the roster.
The Eagles are currently 3-7-1 on the season and with looming salary cap implications, this roster will have to rebuild via the draft.
Philadelphia used a fourth-round pick on K’Von Wallace in the 2020 NFL Draft and the Eagles will use the next five weeks to evaluate the former All American safety out of Clemson per defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
Schwartz said rookie K'von Wallace and Marcus Epps will see an increase in playing time with Will Parks waived.

Jalen Mills the Eagles strong safety currently, and the Eagles could choose to give Wallace more reps at the box safety position that he played so well during his tenure at Clemson. Marcus Epps and Grayland Arnold will also see more reps as well.
