Eagles RB Miles Sanders exits game vs. Raiders with ankle injury

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders leaves game vs. Raiders with an ankle injury

On a day when the Eagles finally decided to feature their star running back, Miles Sanders is now likely to be unavailable due to injury.

Sanders left Sunday’s game against the Raiders late in the second quarter after suffering an ankle injury on a tackle from Las Vegas middle linebacker Denzel Perryman.

After limping off, Sanders was carted off and will be replaced in the lineup by Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott.

Sanders had 6 carries for 30 yards before exiting Sunday’s game.
