Corey Clement joined the Eagles in 2017 as an undrafted free agent running back after a decorated career at Wisconsin that saw him earn All Big-10 honors as a senior.
Rather than ending up cut or on the practice squad, Clement was active for his first NFL game against the Washington Redskins that September. Two weeks later, Clement scored his first NFL touchdown against the New York Giants on a 15-yard run.
In Week 9, against the Denver Broncos, Clement had his best regular-season game, breaking out with 12 rushes for 51 yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a 15-yard touchdown reception.
After not being tendered an RFA offer and choosing to return to the Eagles on a one-year deal, Clement told the media during his zoom press conference, that he’s set to return to his mindset as a rookie.
Corey Clement said he wants to return to the ‘rookie mindset’ with the #Eagles.

During that rookie season, Clement had 321 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns to pair with 10 receptions, 123 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.
During the Eagles Super Bowl LII over the New England Patriots, Clement finished with 8 rushing yards on 3 carries, but his biggest contribution came in the passing game, where he accounted for 100 receiving yards on 4 receptions plus a historic touchdown as the Eagles won 41–33.
Clement was placed on season-ending injured reserve after the Eagles Week-5 win over the Jets after suffering a shoulder injury.
