Eagles QB Carson Wentz to undergo further test after suffering hand injury vs. Seahawks

Jeff McLane of The Inquirer is reporting that Wentz had an initial x-ray, and it was negative, but that he’ll more test in the near future.

The Philadelphia Eagles may have avoided disaster when Carson Wentz suffered a hand injury on a botched handoff to running back Miles Sanders in the teams’ loss to the Seahawks.

Jeff McLane of The Inquirer is reporting that Wentz had an initial x-ray, and it was negative, but that he’ll more test in the near future.

Wentz initially left the game in the third quarter to have it looked at before returning to the field without missing a down or snap.

Playing without running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) and wide receivers Alshon Jeffery (ankle) and Nelson Agholor (knee), who were all inactive on Sunday, Wentz went 33 of 45, for 256 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.
