In a move that’s certain to bring some joy to everyone in the South Jersey community, the Philadelphia Eagles have offered and will host the N.J. high school playoff game between Pleasantville & Camden that was suspended because of a shooting last week.
The game will now be played on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
The game was originally played on Friday night and stopped with Camden holding a 6-0 lead with 4:58 left in the third quarter when gunfire originated from the Pleasantville bleachers.

Each school will be provided passes for players’ parents and family members; the game will be closed to the general public.
