#Eagles clinch a playoff berth next week IF:
1. They beat Washington.
2. Saints lose to Miami tomorrow or to Panthers next Sunday.
3. 49ers beat Texans next Sunday.
4. Vikings lose to Packers next Sunday night.— Rob Maaddi (@RobMaaddi) December 26, 2021
The Eagles handled their business on Sunday and received some much-needed help after the Rams defeated the Vikings 30-23 in Minnesota.
Sony Michel rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown and the Rams clinched a playoff spot with the hard-fought win.
The win keeps the Rams in position to win the NFC West, while Philadelphia is now the No. 7 seed and could wrap up a playoff spot next week if several things happen.
The loss to the Rams takes away the Vikings’ common opponent tiebreaker over the Eagles and puts Philadelphia clearly in the driver’s seat for the 7th seed, as the Birds eye the 6th seed as well.
