Eagles injury report: CB Darius Slay returns to practice

Only two players sat out Thursday’s practice.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ second injury report of the week looks a bit better than their first. On Wednesday’s, they had five players sit out and five limited.

On Thursday, only two sat out and five were upgraded, although they did have anew addition.

The only two players to sit on Thursday have already been ruled out for the game this weekend — tackle Jack Driscoll (knee) and cornerback Avonte Maddox (knee).

Cornerback Darius Slay is progressing through the concussion protocol. He was limited on Thursday after getting no work on Wednesday. Backup safety Grayland Arnold (hamstring) also went from out to limited on Thursday, while DT Fletcher Cox returned to work after a day off.

Linebacker Shaun Bradley (neck) was a new addition and was limited on Thursday, while linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring), cornerback Michael Jacquet (hamstring) and defensive lineman Malik Jackson (concussion) were all limited for the second day in a row.

Safety Rudy Ford (hamstring) and defensive end Josh Sweat (shoulder) were full participants after being limited on Wednesday.
