The Philadelphia Eagles are now preparing for the real thing and on Sunday afternoon they’ll travel to Washington for an all-important season opener. Eagles fans were nervous last week when Wentz sat out practice for precautionary reasons, but on Monday the franchise signal-caller told the media that he feels great and he’s ready to go after dealing with some groin tightness.
It was labeled a lower-body injury although Doug Pederson made it clear that Wentz would have rested anyway in preparation for the Eagles final preseason game.
