Eagles injury report: 5 sit out, 5 limited in Wednesday’s practice

See who appeared on the Eagles’ first injury report of the week.

The Philadelphia Eagles began their week of practice on Wednesday and released their first injury report of the week. They had five players on the report as non-participants and another five who were limited.

Of the five who sat out, four were hurt. Defensive lineman Fletcher Cox was given the day off.

Cornerback Darius Slay is still in concussion protocol and sat out. Fellow starting cornerback Avonte Maddox (knee) did not go either. He has already been ruled out for this week’s game.

Safety Rodney McLeod was placed on injured reserve, but another safety — Grayland Arnold — did not practice with a hamstring injury.

Right tackle Jack Driscoll, whose season is over with a severe MCL tear, has not yet been placed on IR and was listed as not practicing.

Among those who were limited on Wednesday were linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring), former Cardinals safety Rudy Ford (hamstring), defensive tackle Malik Jackson (concussion), cornerback Michael Jacquet (hamstring) and defensive end Josh Sweat (shoulder).
