The Philadelphia Eagles can use a lot of help in the secondary and one of the Pac 12’s top cover men visited the NovaCare Complex.
According to his Instagram story, UCLA cornerback Darnay Holmes had a visit to the Eagles on a top-30 predraft visit.
With Holmes and Amik Robertson as two slot corners who the Eagles have interest in, the Avonte Maddox to safety move could be real.
In his three seasons as a starter for the Bruins, Holmes led the team in interceptions, as has big-game pedigree, earning praises after becoming a rare true freshman to start for the school.
Because of an ankle injury, the 5-foot-11 corner missed the first two games of 2019, as he finished with 34 tackles and two interceptions — which still led the team — and six pass breakups.
