The Philadelphia Eagles finally got a win, but Doug Pederson was unable to avoid questions about his quarterback controversy after Jalen Hurts’ strong debut against the Saints.
Hurts’ was steady and efficient in Philadelphia 24-21 upset win over the New Orleans at Lincoln Financial Field.
Afterward, Pederson had no interest in the process of naming a starter for the Eagles Week 15 road matchup against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.

Hurts gave the Eagles the offensive spark they were looking for, going 17-of-30 for 167 yards and a touchdown and ran 18 times for 106 yards.
Hurts avoided the driving killing sack or turnovers, while spreading the ball around and using his legs to keep Eagles drives alive against the NFL’s No. 1 ranked defensive unit.
