Eagles get snubbed in a uniform ranking of all 32 NFL teams by The Athletic

The Philadelphia Eagles uniforms were ranked among the worst in the NFL by The Athletic

The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the most popular teams in the NFL with a rabid fan base that is second to none.

That same love and adoration were thrown out during a recent uniform ranking by The Athletic. Despite having one of the cleanest looks in the NFL, the Eagles finished in the bottom half of the 32 team list, coming in at No. 22.

In 1996, the Eagles moved from happy Kelly green to a deeper, what-are-you-looking-at-pal green that better suits this fine city. That they won a Super Bowl in those duds likely means they’ll never go back. You got a problem with that?

Best look: The dark green jerseys are way more menacing than the white-on-white look. They’re more — to borrow a phrase — Philly special.

The Eagles finished ahead of the Giants (25th) but came in behind the Redskins (21st) and the Cowboys (6th).

The Cardinals finished last at No. 32, while the Colts (5th), the Steelers (4th), the Chargers (3rd), the Bears (2nd), and Raiders (1st) finished out the top-5.
