Eagles clinch the NFC seed, No. 2 seed in the conference with 41-7 win over Cowboys

On Sunday, the Eagles completed a season sweep and captured the NFC East with a resounding 41-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

The win gives Nick Sirianni’s team the No. 2 seed, and depending on Sunday night football, Philadelphia still has an outside shot at the No. 1 seed if the Vikings lose to Green Bay on Sunday Night Football and then turn around and defeat the Detroit Lions in Week 18.

Playing without quarterback Jalen Hurts, Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee both tossed touchdown passes as the Eagles outscored the Cowboys 75-13 in two regular-season meetings this season.

Records were broken in the win, with Saquon Barkley carrying the football 31 times for 167 yards (5.4 avg) to eclipse the 2,000-yard mark while putting himself 101 yards shy of Eric Dickerson’s 2,105 yards set in 1984.
