Jeff McLane reports that Philadelphia received good news on Jalen Carter and the #Eagles are hopeful the rookie DT can be ready for matchup vs. Cowboys

Jalen Carter was forced to exit the Eagles’ 38-31 win over the Commanders twice with back pain, and he eventually was ruled out.

Carter underwent a Monday morning MRI, and Philadelphia received good news about their star defensive tackle; there’s a good chance he’ll be available for Sunday’s showdown with the Cowboys.

Carter had one tackle and 1 QB hit before exiting, and on the season, he’s logged 14 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Carter (91.6( is 2nd highest highest-graded defensive tackle in the NFL behind Dexter Lawrence per PFF, and he’s among the league leaders in pressures with 28 (5th).
