The Eagles are big business, and the NFC favorite to reach the Super Bowl drew a massive streaming crowd on Thursday night.
According to the Associated Press, Philadelphia’s 34-28 victory over Minnesota averaged 15.1 million viewers via Nielsen’s ratings. It was the most streamed NFL game in history, surpassing the 13 million from last year’s first game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
There had been some prior debate about identifying the most accurate viewership measurement.
Philadelphia has now been involved in the most watched Super Bowl and most-streamed regular season game in NFL history.
