EA Sports nailed it with the release of its promo teaser for the Madden NFL 22 cover.
There will be a pair of G.O.A.T.s if you believe what you see.
And the company incorporated the most unlikely cover person from the past, former Cleveland Browns RB Peyton Hillis.
Hillis made the 2011 cover after rushing for 1,177 yards as a Brown in 2010. It was by far his best year in an otherwise ordinary career.
Even former cover athlete @thepeytonhillis didn’t see this coming…

Okay, so one G.O.A.T. is fairly obvious, the youngster who plays quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady.
The other? Could it be Patrick Mahomes? Aaron Rodgers was NFL MVP in 2020. Or someone else? What’s your guess?
The official announcement will come Thursday at 10 a.m. ET.
