The Brooklyn Nets are set to finish off their two-game road trip in Indiana on Monday with a game against the Pacers. They are doing so without Kyrie Irving, who’s dealing with a medial ligament sprain in his right knee. Brooklyn is now also without Dzanan Musa.
The Nets assigned the 6-foot-9 wing to their G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, ahead of Monday’s game against the Pacers.
Musa did not play in Brooklyn’s loss to the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, but he did see some action in the win over the Golden State Warriors. In just over nine minutes of work, the wing scored nine points on 4-for-4 shooting (1-for-1 from 3-point territory) and grabbed four rebounds.
Musa will be joining Theo Pinson, who has logged a deal of time with the Long Island Nets of late.
Long Island is back in action on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ESPN+ when they visit the Oklahoma City Blue, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s G League affiliate.
