Nebraska football quarterback Dylan Raiola is expected to be healthy to return for next week’s game against the USC Trojans. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported this.
The quarterback left Saturday’s game against the UCLA Bruins in the fourth quarter after getting hit on a scramble. He finished the day with 177 yards on 14-of-27 passing, throwing a touchdown and an interception.
Raiola has 1,921 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, and eight interceptions on the season. He has struggled a bit over the last couple of weeks, throwing for two touchdowns and five interceptions in his last five games.
Raiola’s health will be worth monitoring over the next couple of weeks. The Huskers are still searching for that sixth win to clinch their opportunity at a bowl game, and a healthy Raiola is certainly important for the Huskers to reach that milestone.
