Dylan Edwards sees star potential in fellow freshman Omarion Miller

Dylan Edwards sees “dawg” potential in Omarion Miller

The Colorado Buffaloes football team has plenty of notable players to watch with Deion Sanders running the show. There are just way too many names, and sometimes it’s easy to forget a few players.

Dylan Edwards, the Buffs’ talented incoming freshman running back who flipped from Notre Dame, mentioned Omarion Miller first when he was asked to name five teammates who’ve impressed him the most this summer during a segment of DNVR Buffs Live. “He’s gonna be a dawg,” Edwards said of Miller, a four-star freshman wide receiver.

Edwards went on to name offensive tackle Savion Washington, defensive lineman Shane Cokes, cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter and safety Myles Slusher as the four other Buffs who’ve stood out to him.

That’s an impressive list of players that Edwards gave, and it’s no surprise that Hunter was included. But, Miller might be a surprising addition. He could play a role this season for the Buffs and could catch a lot of passes from Shedeur Sanders, depending on how everything plays out.

It’s early, but there are plenty of names popping off the page. The season opener against TCU can’t come soon enough.
