Dyami Brown has career day for Commanders

Dyami Brown had a career day for the Washington Commanders in the loss to Tennessee on Sunday afternoon.

Former UNC football wide receiver Dyami Brown is in his second year with the Washington Commanders, trying to find a role in the offense that is led by Carson Wentz. And in Week 5, Brown showed why the Commanders took a chance on him in the draft.

Brown had a career day in Washington’s loss to Tennessee on Sunday, hauling in just two passes but both going for touchdowns and a total of 105 yards. The receiver made two big plays in the game as Wentz found him for the two touchdowns and it’s the best Brown has looked in his career so far.

It was the first time Brown has gone over 100 yards in his career as well, with his previous high being 53.

The 2021 season was a struggle for Brown as he dealt with an injury and he got off to a slow start here in 2022 as well. But this game could help him turn the corner and build some confidence for the future.

He got his chance with rookie Jahan Dotson missing the game and now he could be in-line for another big day on Thursday night in Chicago.
