Dwyane Wade released a song with Rick Ross and it is not good

Dwyane Wade should never rap again.

Dwyane Wade is easily one of the best basketball players of all-time. Three championships, 13 All-Star appearances, eight All-NBA teams. He’s the most decorated player in Miami Heat history, and a first-ballot Hall of Fame lock.

His rap career, though, should really stop after today if we’re being honest.

The Heat are retiring Wade’s jersey in the rafters over the weekend, and in celebration of that occasion, Wade released a song called “Season Ticket Holder” with Miami’s own Rick Ross ahead of all the festivities.

Now, full disclosure, I am a HUGE Rick Ross fan and think very little that he touches as far as music goes is bad. But, buddy, let me tell ya, this song is terrible. Take a listen.

First of all, Wade is the first voice we hear on the track. Why is he coming in with absolutely zero energy?!? It’s his big weekend! He should be hype. Instead, he sounds like Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh.

When Wade said “Never known as a singer/But this might be a single” you knew the song was going to be awful. The whole time I’m just like “Word, we couldn’t tell.”

Wade might easily be the worst hooper-turned-rapper we’ve ever seen. And there are a lot of them. That’s saying something.

Dwyane Wade is great. He’s one of the best basketball players we’ll ever see. But, listen, we give you a lot of credit for trying.  Nobody can hate on the attempt. Rapping is hard! But sometimes you just shouldn’t do it. Please, D Wade, never do this again, bud.
