Dana White’s Contender Series, Season 8 came to a close Tuesday, but not before an emphatic performance by [autotag]Nick Klein[/autotag].
In a fight he took on eight days’ notice, Klein (6-1) ran through Brazil’s [autotag]Heraldo Souza[/autotag] (9-2-1) with a 31-second rear-naked choke at Dana White’s Contender Series 76.
A purple belt going against a black belt, Klein quickly took Souza down, locked in the choke and got the tap.

Klein, 29, has five finishes in six pro wins. Tuesday’s bout was his first since November 2023.
Souza, 29, is the Standout Fighting Tournament welterweight champion. Tuesday’s defeat was his first loss since November 2020.
